Advanced Search

Search for buildings in a particular area and/or containing work by a particular builder with an organ which has one or more of a set of specific attributes. At least one of County, Historic Organ Certificate (HOC) or Builder's name must be selected.

If you want to select the work of a particular builder, type part of the name. For instance, "Harris" will find "Harris organs" and "Renatus Harris" but not "Harrison", "Renatus" will find "Renatus Harris" and "Harrison" will find "Harrison & Harrison". Note that this only selects an organ which has had some work done by the given builder, it does not necessarily mean the organ is mainly the work of this builder. If you do not want to select a builder, leave the box blank.

It is possible to restrict the search to within certain date bands. To bypass the date check and include undated records untick the box.

It is possible to search for organs with a particular stop.
